Which merchant account is right for YOU?
PromoPit offers 4 different account options to our merchants ... "Free", "Lite", "Standard", and "Pro".
When making your decision, please consider all features included with each account type to ensure you are getting the best value for your particular needs.
The following summaries are aimed at helping you to decide which account type is best suited to your needs.
Merchant Free
The "Free" merchant account option has absolutely NO monthly fees associated with it. This option will allow the merchant the ability to sell all their products and/or services through PromoPit and is a great option for anyone looking for the added exposure that PromoPit can bring, while keeping costs down.
Since this option is free, there are NO included credits with this account (credits are needed for creating special promos), however credits can easily be purchased at any time if desired (purchasing credits is optional and only needed if you are running promos).
What type of merchant is this option best suited to?
- merchants who are just starting out
- merchants who don't plan to run any (or very few) special promos
- merchants with lower sales volume
Merchant Lite
The "Lite" merchant account option is really geared towards merchants that want the extra exposure PromoPit can bring, but don't plan on creating many promos.
This account option includes 20 credits per month and will therefore allow the merchant to create 5 promos per month without the need to purchase any more credits.
What type of merchant is this option best suited to?
- merchants who don't plan on creating many promos (about 5 per month)
- merchants with light to average sales volume
- merchants with smaller budgets (at under $6/month, it's affordable to all)
Merchant Standard
The "Standard" option is the perfect blend of features and cost, and tends to meet the needs and budget of most merchants. This option is by far the most popular among our merchants because it includes two BIG extra features that the "Free" and "Lite" versions don't have - the ability to incorporate upsells, and access to our Free Product Giveaway Platform (which is a very powerful selling and promotional tool). When you combine these added features with the small monthly cost (under 12 bucks!), it's easy to see why this option is so popular among our merchants.
What type of merchant is this option best suited to?
- merchants who are more active and plan to create several promos a month
- merchants with average or better sales volume (30 or more sales in a month)
- merchants who want to take advantage of our Free Product Giveaway Platform
- merchants who want to incorporate upsells into their sales process
Merchant Pro
The "Pro" option is geared towards active merchants and merchants that want everything PromoPit has to offer. With the 100 monthly credits, reduced cost of promos, and extremely LOW selling fees, the Pro option is the only way to go if you plan to get the most from PromoPit at the very lowest possible cost to you.
What type of merchant is this option best suited to?
- merchants that are doing above average to high sales volume
- merchants that have lots of products to sell
- merchants who plan to be very active and run multiple promos per week
- merchants who want to take advantage of our Free Product Giveaway Platform
- merchants who want to incorporate upsells into their sales process
- merchants who want the most control over their promos (advanced scheduling)

Although you want to try and select the merchant account that is best suited to your own personal needs, it's important to note that regardless of the merchant option you choose, you can always change to a different level should your needs change in the future.
